Brazil beat Costa Rica 2-0 in World Cup Group E
Philippe Coutinho and Neymar scored the goals as Brazil beat Costa Rica 2-0 in their second World Cup Group E game on Friday.
The win puts Brazil top of the group with four points, while Costa Rica are bottom with no points.
Brazil dominated the game from the start and had several chances to score before Coutinho finally broke the deadlock in the 90th minute.
Neymar then made sure of the victory with a goal in the final minute of the game.
Costa Rica gave a good account of themselves but were ultimately outclassed by a superior Brazil side.
The result leaves Brazil in a strong position to qualify for the knockout stages, while Costa Rica must now win their final group game against Switzerland to have any chance of progressing.
